Fall is so beautiful at home. I just love being able to go down to the field and find pretty trees and sky to photograph <3

I had a dream last night that I hiked through Europe and it was my job. Oh, and Brett was there too so that made it even better! Ohhh to dream and wish..
“Helen Sear works with her photographs as if they were veils, layering multiple images to create evocative landscapes, each delicately inscribed with a figure. She describes her approach as “a double time of image making,” referring to the instant during which she takes each photograph and the time during which she superimposes her photographic images. By deliberately combining photographs taken at different times and in different locations, Sear plays with the notion of site-specificity and the reliability of the camera as a documentary recording device.”

You know those moments that randomly come up when you just go breathless at the magnificence of Christ? Well, I’m in the midst of one right now. It is absolutely an insane feeling that I can hardly put into words.
You see, moments like these don’t always come up. Sure, you can see something and smile, thanking God for it, but these moments, these…experiences, are like no other. I mean, all I’m doing is editing some of my recent sunset/sunrise photographs from my recent camping trip and I’m almost crying looking at them. God just created the world so utterly majestic. Like seriously, this moment of awe and reverence for God came through a photograph that I took a week ago! I wasn’t expecting that this was going to come about when I took the photograph, but I’m so glad that it’s happening!
I just love my Jesus so much!! He made this beautiful creation in sheer perfection for us to enjoy and live in. If that doesn’t demonstrate some serious love in your eyes, open them a bit wider! Look around you! There is such beauty among the madness of this world if you just look for it. And when you see it, these impromptu worship and praise moments may just happen between you and the one who created it all. God just blows my mind all the time. I love it.
Thank you, God, for reminding me not only of your great love, but your great power and magnificence.
17 May the king’s name endure forever;
may it continue as long as the sun shines.
May all nations be blessed through him
and bring him praise.
18 Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel,
who alone does such wonderful things.
19 Praise his glorious name forever!
Let the whole earth be filled with his glory.
Amen and amen!
P.S. I will post the photographs later when I finish them =]
