Ok so as you all know I went to see my FAVORITE FAVORITE band ever this past weekend, Relient K. And let me just tell you….I just about died! Not literally of course, but in the “I’m so happy and this is so awesome that I could die happy” kind of feeling haha.
Anyways, the show opened with William Beckett, formerly a part of The Academy Is. He was really great; I love his voice! And then came Hellogoodbye, which was also awesome because I’ve always wanted to see them live. I’ve listened to them for ages it seems like! They played my favorites as well as some new ones that were pretty good! At one point they synthed their bass guitar and it literally shook all my bones and made my ears itch because of the vibration. It was one of those feelings that are so weird that it kind of hurts but is super awesome at the same time! It was so cool!
But then it came on to Relient K…and when they stepped out I screamed soooo loud I probably almost bust the ear drums of the people in front of me. Seriously guys, this band is so amazing. If you have never heard their music GO LISTEN NOW! That band has gotten me through so many things. Matt Thiessen (a true lyrical genius if you ask me) writes so eloquently. I could never think of the things he does. He’s my musical influence and I look up to him so much. The lyrics are so personal and they always have a positive message in it, no matter what he writes about. He references Jesus in so many clever ways, and can reach so many people. It just blows my mind. But anyways, this was the BEST show I have EVER been to. They literally played every single one of my favorite songs and played them to perfection. I smiled the whole time and I couldn’t stop. My family probably thinks I’m looney about this band, but I just feel so close and connected to their music. I can’t explain it. But nonetheless, it was the best night ever. Enjoy the photos. I did the best I could standing behind a bunch of Amazon giants and a large man lol. Have a great night!
I’ll have another photo set up after this one, strictly of Relient K ^_^

TODAY IS THE DAY.
RELIENT K.
YESSSSSSSSS!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!
Be prepared for daily posts like this…. I keep randomly remembering that I’m so close to seeing my favorite band again. ashdglhaeilruafhsjk!

My buddy Kyle Simmons from Sly’s Alter Ego had a birthday today, and he and his bandmate, Jeff, picked me up and took me out to pick up a lovely toothbrush to replace the decent one that I had left in a hotel in Nashville. I always buy the most expensive toothbrush I can find. Cause if its a $5 toothbrush and you use it for a month, it averages out to about 16.6 cents a day…that means its about 8.3 cents a use. Where as a $3 toothbrush only saves you a few cents a day. Go big. Always go big.
I really want to go to another Relient K concert… they’re the best of the best for sure! And, their new album is supposed to come out this year. aksdhglkashel! I’m so excited for that!! As you can see. Yes. I’m aware that I am weird. So be it. Boom.
